'Meh' Work
Seeing as I'm posting up my favourite work, it seems only fair that I post up the developement work I'm not so keen on too...
Recently I bumped into a friend in a coffee shop, and he had with him a massive pack of felt-tips! Not wanting to be left out, I decided to join in on the felt-tip fun. I've never used them before...therefore this was the result...
Incase you couldn't tell, it's the back of a man in an awesome jumper.
A sketch I did on the train to London...
And some elderly folk blocking the path in Dorchester.
This is Dorchester town center on a busy Tuesday afternoon. Exciting, isn't it?

Catch-up
So recently my life has mostly revolved around sorting out my old room, catching up with old friends and job-hunting, but now everything's settled down a little I can start concentrating on my illustration again.
Firstly... a couple of weeks ago Harriet Alana sent me her zine, Brash. I mentioned her in my review of the Girl+Zines show, you should definately check her stuff out!
I also finally got around to finishing my 'Teenage Crush' zine, which is really just a collection of pretty famous people I liked as a teenager...
Also, my dad's rented out a room for his therapy practice, but it's mine to use as a studio for 3 or 4 days a week which is pretty lush! It's right in the middle of Dorchester with a swanky chair, massive desk, tea-making facilities and with a lovely rooftop view...all I need!

New starts and various Brody's...
This week has been ridiculously busy what with moving back to Dorset, job-hunting, sorting out my room for the first time in about 10 years and trying to get used to life back in the country.
I'm going to miss London so much. Too much. I'll miss the independence, my friends, the transport, the food, the architecture etc etc... but dwindling funds and the fact that I don't want to get a 60hr a week job to barely scrape by a living means that moving back home is the more sensible option. Besides, I'm quite looking forward to concentrating more on my 'illustration career', reconnecting with old friends and attempting to get used to a quieter pace of life!
Anyway enough of ranting. Besides everything I've just mentioned, I've also spent the last week attempting to finish a little project I've been working on. Here's a little taster! Two Brody's, of the Dalle and Adam variety. A massive pleasure to draw...

Cake-pops and pens
I love exciting post, so I was thrilled to recieve these today made by the lovely Emma Greensmith. So cute!
Trying to reacquaint myself with pens as I've been pretty much exclusively using paints for the last few months.
The dodgy Spike and Draco Malfoy portraits are part of a new project. More info to be revealed soon! Also, I'm aware of the terrible camera skills. I'm staying in London for a few weeks with no scanner...
