Owl

I got stuck and painted an owl (gosh, what a change...). Not sure what to do with it. Might adapt it into a Christmas card...?

Dodgy Foxes

In an alleyway. But the toothy one looks like he has dots for eyes, so he shall have to be fixed!

Badges

Me and Alex collaborated on our friend Izzy's Birthday present.
I drew the backing card (Izzy's face) and the pug and panda badges, Alex sewed the badger and name badges.
We're thinking of doing a few different versions to try and sell...

Happy Birthday Isobel Kho!!

Contrast vs No Contrast

Also, aerial view of Piccadily. Not too sure about that one...

ZINE

Last Wednesday was 'zine' day, so I made two little cards showing hints about my upcoming book by mixing up some of the work I had so far. Cutting and sticking was never my strong point at primary school and I haven't really improved since then! But it was still tres enjoyable...

Big Ben and yet another tree

I definately prefer the second one.

Experiments with trees and backgrounds using diluted ink.

Ink for beginners

I've never really used inks before other than for backgrounds and shadowing, so here's my first attempt at actually drawing with them!
So here be some scribbly trees...

The Woods

I came back to Dorset to unwind for a couple of days and take some research pictures of the woods. As much as I would never dream to move back, I always forget what a beautiful place it is.
Anyhooo, here's a few from Powerstock Woods. I'm thinking this would be the perfect childhood home of the owls...?

Photos

I went to Southbank today to take a few research snaps. I'm a little camera-illiterate and ended up taking all my photos on some kind of lightless setting so they all turned out dark and gloomy. However, a little last minute editing managed to just about save them!

Also, pigeons!
